Why HoMies?
Why would a church name their congregation "HoMies"? The name arose organically from one of the congregants and given the laid back atmosphere of the church, the name fit perfectly and the congregation wears it proudly.
What's a HoMie?
House of Mercy is not just a building where strangers come to lay down their obligation to the Lord. We come HoM to be with family and worship the Lord together, grow together and laugh together. HoMies truly experience the Joy of the Lord together.
